Fue fundada a mediados del siglo XV durante la ocupaci\u00f3n otomana por parte de los colonos macedonios y pronto logr\u00f3 obtener una orden ejecutiva favorable del sult\u00e1n que otorgaba a la zona un grado de autonom\u00eda que le permit\u00eda prosperar m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo razonable.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"qntm-775o\">Descubriendo la Riqueza Hist\u00f3rica y Natural de Kozani: Actividades<\/h2>\n<p>La ciudad en s\u00ed est\u00e1 construida en humildes hileras de edificios neocl\u00e1sicos, con algunos destacados notables como la torre del reloj, el gimnasio \u00abValtadoreio\u00bb, el ayuntamiento y varias otras casas de comerciantes convertidas en museos. Es el segundo m\u00e1s grande de Grecia y deber\u00eda merecer una mirada minuciosa si no fuera por sus manuscritos \u00fanicos. Kozani es una ciudad de libros y aprendizaje y su considerable poblaci\u00f3n estudiantil aumenta durante los meses de invierno en acogedores caf\u00e9s y bares de moda.
