Athens is one of the oldest cities in the entire world, and the cradle of western civilization. This alone makes it stand out as a bucket list destination for anyone interested in ancient culture. And that’s how it was up until recently. But then things changed. People started paying closer attention to Athens. Why? Because Athens has become an all year round destination on account of its awesome climate, its burgeoning food culture, its vivid nightlife and the air of authenticity that exudes every pore of the city. Let’s get things right, Athens is raw and unfiltered. You’re likely to see the good and the bad coexist harmoniously, without pretence, without fanfare and without preconceptions.

Athens has become the place to be at. Theres a giddiness and a sense of the unexpected, a feeling that anything is possible and that has translated into more visitors. And those visitors looking for their perfect Mediterranean holiday can be spotted everywhere around the centre, shopping, eating or strolling around the many parks and museums and outdoor cafes. And of course, hotels.

Athens has seen a slew of new hotels opening up in the centre, with many more yet to come in this year. 4 and 5 star hotels are on the rise, as are smaller boutique hotels, and old areas such as Omonoia and Metaxurgio have seen new life been breathed into them.

They say necessity is the mother of all invention. Well, Athens has got its hands on a few prototypes and is holding on to the patents tightly, so come have a look at what we’re making!
