Canary Isles (Tenerife)
8 Day tour includes Santa Cruz de Tenerife, La Gomera, Santa Cruz de la Palma, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura & Gran Canaria
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a naturalist heaven with a well-connected transit system that allows you to explore the entirety of the island. La Gomera is the most inaccessible of the islands but is rugged and wild and not at all catered to mass tourism. Green mountains, pierced by gorges and ravines are whats special about this place. Santa Cruz de la Palma is laid back. It’s also home to a beautiful town on the shore and various green mountains. Lanzarote, easily the most intriguing island in the chain, is a Unesco biosphere reserve. It boasts incredible volcanic cones, lava pools and a mix of desert and greenery that’s surreal. Fuerteventura is a biosphere reserve island with some of the best beaches in the Canaries. In Gran Canaria one can see the contrast between the rugged arid peaks with the verdant valleys on the other side. The island is home to half the Canaries population and is the most developed.
