Athens
Athens is a unique European capital with various archaeological sites, none more imposing than the famous Acropolis. Apart from that there are numerous neighbourhoods to explore like Plaka situated in the historical centre, world class restaurants to sample and a unique riviera that stretches all the way to the Temple of Poseidon in Sounio.
Olimpia
Olympia will captivate young and old alike, with its tales of Olympic greatness, in what is the birthplace of the Olympic Games. This hallowed ground is home to the gymnasium and several other structures in various states of disrepair, while its aura is intoxicating, so if you’re a sports fan and want to run a victory lap, feel free.
Delphi
Delphi is one of the sacred places of ancient Greece, as this is where the Oracle delivered her prophecies. The navel of the ancient world is littered with temples dedicated to Apollo and scattered ruins strewn across the hillside.
Meteora
Like a scene out of a sci-fi film, the mysterious Meteora stays with you forever. Walk around and explore the gigantic monoliths with monasteries on top, 6 of which now remain, and feel the religious undertones of the entire place. This is a spiritual pilgrimage to one of the most unique destinations in the world.
Mykonos
Mykonos is known as a world famous party island, however there are also great beaches, a tremendous food scene and lots of high end shops from famous brands to discover. The island comes to life when you explore the cobblestoned streets & Little Venice during the sunset hours for a magical experience. Head to Psarou & Paradise beaches for a swim and a cocktail, while you dance in the beach bars.
Kusadasi
Kusadasi is home to ancient Ephesus, where you can see the famous Greco Roman ruins from antiquity. The Bazaar in Kusadasi is the second largest in the country after Istanbul making it a unique place. Make sure you stop by the Oriental Bazaar for open air shopping or the Grand Bazaar for an authentic experience.
Patmos
Discover one of the most spiritual Greek islands in Patmos where St. John the Theologian wrote the Book of Revelations in a cave, making it a popular destination for Christian pilgrimage. There are also great organised beaches such as Skala & Agriolivado for a relaxing beach trip. Make sure you take some time to visit the scenic villages and explore the rich nature around them.
Rhodes
Rhodes is a great family holiday destination with lots of popular beach destinations and sites to see. With an incredible history spanning from antiquity to explore, there are a lot of options to choose from. We recommend the mediaeval Palace of the Grand Master & the Acropolis of Lindos as iconic places to see. There are also numerous famous beaches such as Anthony Quinn beach and remote villages like Archangelos & Archipoli in the verdant mountains for ecotourism.
Crete
In Crete you’ll be able to marvel at the ruins of the Minoan Palace of Knossos and experience the vibrant life of Heraklion’s Old Quarter. There are great food options from the local restaurants that utilise local recipes & ingredients, making Crete a culinary destination. The natural beauty of Crete however is not to be missed. Famous destinations nearby include the Blue Lagoon & Samaria Gorge.
