The Best of Egypt & Israel

Pack your bags and get ready to hop around the Middle East! With travel restrictions loosening up its worth checking up on what’s happening, and the news are good. Get the most out of your holiday and stretch your legs, by traveling to multiple destinations. Hit two and three birds with a stone and see what the eastern Med has to offer. Countries like Israel and Egypt are the cradle of many important civilizations and are trips of a lifetime with excellent sea and sun credentials, great culture and history.

Egypt

Egypt and its mysterious past are alluring as ever, with new artefacts and tombs being unearthed regularly these days. A visit to the Pyramids of Giza, one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world is a tremendous experience that should be on your bucket list without doubt. And that’s before you get to the enigmatic sphynx, sitting sentinel, guarding untold secrets. The Valley of the Kings and Karmak in Luxor are equally as impressive and worth your time, but if you want to kick back and explore head for the rural areas (make sure you embark on a Nile cruise) like Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh and the Siwa Oasis in the Sahara and get to know the culture while you relax. A visit to Alexandria is no to be missed.

Israel

Israel and its magnificent past are a magnet for millions of people of different faiths and cultures all living in harmony. Jerusalem, one of the oldest cities with a recorded continuous settlement of thousands of years is a treasure trove of history. Walk along its cobble stone streets in the old city and feel it come to life as it would so long ago. Few places in the world can match the level of spiritual energy here. Continue your pilgrimage by way of Tel Aviv, a lively sea side city with youthful energy and great R&R opportunities. Haifa and Eilat are two other interesting urban hubs but head out to Caesarea and Nazareth and you’ll be truly mesmerized. If you fancy exploring and want to combine sea and sun, check out the Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee (windsurfing ahoy). Masada and the Ramon Crater are some neat natural curios worth seeing, too.
